A Definition of the SOLID Acronym

The SOLID acronym is an acronym of acronyms, drawing together five basic design principals:

  1. Single Responsibility Principal (SRP)
  2. Open Closed Principal (OCP)
  3. Liskov Substitution Principal (LSP)
  4. Interface Segregation Principal (ISP)
  5. Dependency Injection Principal (DIP)
